Judy Cournoyer is the co-founder and broker of Meadow View Realty. With a background in business, real estate finance, marketing and investing, Judy has been involved in real estate for many years.

Her interest in real estate began while working in the mortgage department of a local bank. She and her husband, Jim, started investing in real estate while their two children were young. She soon realized how much she loved the northeast corner while raising children in Thompson, and she and her husband have lived in the same home for 45 years!

Rather than work for quotas in order to be recognized for volume sales, she focuses on each client, one at a time, paying close attention to detail, while utilizing her seasoned network of professionals from lawyers, inspectors, appraisers, and more to facilitate the smoothest transactions possible.

One of the most rewarding things about being in business in Thompson has been the ability to get involved in many community fundraisers. Working with The Thompson Business Association, Judy and Jim have worked on the fundraising team for the Weekend Warrior Golf Tournament. Weekend Warrior helps to feed families in need in our area.

In addition, Judy has been an advocate for mental health programs in local schools. Judy and Jim are also very active in holding another golf tournament, The Annual Charles Cournoyer Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournament in memory of their son, Charles, who lost his battle with mental illness. Funds are raised for scholarships in local schools for students entering the mental health field or environmental science. Thus far, over $30,000 has been awarded to area students.
